# Instance is being updated

The instance is being updated right now. Resend after the wait time from Retry-After.

**Status 503** · `INSTANCE_PENDING`

## Typical cause

Your instance is being updated and does not know the requested operation yet. This usually takes only minutes.

## Way out

Wait for `Retry-After` and retry. If it lasts longer, give the `requestId` to support.
