# Upload incomplete

The file has not been uploaded completely yet.

**Status 409** · `UPLOAD_INCOMPLETE`

## Typical cause

The document was created before the file had fully reached the store.

## Way out

Send all raw bytes first, then `POST /v1/documents` with the `uploadId`. The session lasts 24 hours.
