# File rejected

The content of the file contradicts its type. Do not send the same bytes again.

**Status 422** · `UPLOAD_REJECTED`

## Typical cause

The file signature does not match the stated type. No document is created.

## Way out

Upload the file in the right format. After a scan finding, check where the file came from before sending it again.
