What Try it protects

The portal is a place where keys are typed in. That is why three fixed rules apply here.
  • Sandbox keys only. Try it sends keys of the test environment only. The API also refuses a live key from this portal server-side with 401 UNAUTHENTICATED.
  • The API only. The request goes straight to the server of the spec and to nobody else: no proxy, no third-party scripts, no analytics.
  • Tab only. The key lives in this tab’s storage, not in localStorage and not in a cookie. Close the tab and it is gone.
